Interior layout On the ground floor you’ll find a super-king sized double bedroom with an en-suite and a spiral staircase leading up to the spacious open plan kitchen and living area, where there’s a generous double sofa-bed, and a shower room.

In the fully equipped kitchen you’ll find everything you could possibly need to entertain and if requested in advance, we can provide breakfast for your first morning. The dining table can seat 4 but if you prefer to dine al fresco, and the Scottish weather permits, then take advantage of your own private patio and barbeque.

Location

Directions

New Town Mews is a 25 minute drive from Edinburgh Airport. There are regular bus, tram and taxi services into town.

Both city train stations - Waverley and Haymarket – are a 5 minute taxi ride away and the bus station is even closer.

Parking

There is a courtyard to the rear of the property with an allocated parking space available. Please note that the archway entrance was originally designed for Victorian carriages and is approximately 2.30m wide by 2.30m high so large/wide vehicles may not be able to gain entry.

Edinburgh’s historic New Town is home to sweeping cobbled streets, beautiful Georgian architecture and famous spots like the picturesque Princes Street Gardens. Built in the mid 18th Century, the New Town was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995 and the neat and ordered grid of streets and open green squares provides an elegant contrast to the labyrinth of the neighbouring Old Town.

The architectural grandeur is also home to a fantastic selection of Edinburgh’s retailers, independent cafes, pubs and restaurants. Whether you’re spending your stay exploring the history of the city, visiting some of the best restaurants or enjoying the view of the castle whilst shopping up a storm on Princes Street – this is an excellent base to experience the best the city has to offer.

A cozy, clean house in a quiet side street of the new town. Ideal for one to two people. Fully equipped with everything needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Two bus stops are just around the corner, as well as shopping and restaurants. It's a ten to fifteen-minute walk to City Centre or Stockbridge area. I always like to treasure the house as a starting point for the Fringe Festival. Ali is a very friendly and helpful owner. Strongly recommended.

We could not have picked a better place to stay in Edinburgh, it was so easy to get around from, by bus train or walking.
The standard of accommodation was excellent, the little extras were very much appreciated (wine, chocolates)
The host was on hand to welcome us on our arrival and gave us useful information on the area for our stay. There was a small problem with the washing machine while we were there but again the host was so helpful.
Comfortable bed , lovely large fluffy towels, super clean,toiletries provided
Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would stay again if visiting the area

An absolute pleasure to stay in this lovely apartment. Whilst it is in a central location from where you can walk to most attractions the apartment is wonderfully quiet and very private. The parking is very secure and the outside seating area is a real suntrap and an oasis in which to sit and relax with a glass of wine or two!

The apartment is spacious for two and finished to a very high standard and equipped with everything you could possible need for your stay. There are many great restaurants, pubs and cafes in the surrounding area and local supermarkets too. The bed is very comfy with high quality bedding coupled with the tranquility of the location a great night's sleep is guaranteed.

The communication and subsequent meet and greet experience was faultless as was the pre and post booking process. We would highly recommend this luxury apartment and the Mews Company for anyone looking to enjoy a stay in Edinburgh.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this property. It is located in an ideal spot for exploring both the city centre & Stockbridge areas. It is also a pleasant walk to the main city attractions & old town area. Alternatively you can catch a bus only minutes walk from the property. Whilst being located within the city it is very quiet due to being in a lane with little passing traffic. There is also a local supermarket 2 mins walk away to buy supplies.
We would highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.
